«Gala» is a clonally multiplied variety of apple with a mild and sweet flavor. Apples «Gala» ranked at number two in the list of the most popular apples of US producers Association in 2006, after the «Red Delicious» and before the «Golden Delicious», «Granny Smith», and «Fuji» (in order of ). The fruit color is uneven.
